Eat

Last week a friend and I had lunch at TART located in the Farmer's Daughter Hotel on Fairfax.  The food was great, fresh ingredients (I'm assuming from the Farmer's Market across the street).  We sat outside in the hotel's courtyard looking at the various design elements.  Farm equipment was hung up on the building's blue walls.  I really liked the small pool area, the only part of the building painted bright yellow.  The railings were also fun, kind of looking like cartoony wood boards.  To top it all off, we had a pleasantly eccentric waiter asking if we "foxes were ready to trot."  The hotel's brochure is great to look at, successfully integrating a sleek retro look with a home-y theme.Here's their website: http://www.farmersdaughterhotel.com

Oh Lilly, glad to see you started a blog. Since we aren't going to have any classes together, I'll have to follow you around on here.

Fairfax farmers market?!?! The Hundreds store is over there. Let's go.
