I was in Palm Springs over the long weekend with family.  It's like a home away from home; we've been going to PS since I was in diapers...I just need to buy a home there in a few years, a retro modernist number ;).

French & Saunders

Two funny Brits, Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French have parodied anything and everything under the sun, from "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" to "The Exorcist"!  I've loved Saunders in "Absolutely Fabulous" for years now. The French & Saunders sketch comedy show is still going strong since the late 70s.

Changeling

I watched "Changeling" last night.   It was one of those "its-late-but-I'm-completely-engrossed-by-this-film-to-go-to-bed!"  Great performances by both Jolie and Malkovich (is it just me, or does the man have an incredible voice?!).  It just got me thinking about LA in the early 1900s, and how it was still somewhat of a wild west town (corruption, greed, anarchy to a degree).

The score is what did it for me, just AMAZING.  It really captured the mood, and propelled the story.
